General Waste Skip Bins
The most popular waste type in Brisbane homes and businesses, our general waste skip bins are for lightweight rubbish. This includes household waste like furniture and appliances, green waste and light building or construction waste. However, this bin cannot be used for carpet, liquids, soil or heavy construction waste like bricks or concrete.

Green Waste Skip Bins
Grass, leaves, tree trimmings, small branches, weeds, bark, grass clippings in our green waste skip bins. Keeping this bin type free of household and general waste or soil is important as green waste can be composted and reused, making it an environmentally friendly way of disposing of organic materials.

No Asbestos or other hazardous waste, No cleanfill/hardfill, No food waste, No soil, No cabbage trees, bamboo or flax, No tree trunks or stumps.

 Unfortunately, no, there is a $500.00 surcharge, to cover the extra costs the waste site charges.  

Is it okay to dump a small amount of Asbestos into the industrial bin?

Absolutely not, Asbestos can only be removed by licensed transporters. You should never touch and certainly never place Asbestos in the bins. There is a minimum $500 surcharge if this occurs. 

When placing the order, you agree that The bin will be picked up and weighed BY Waste disposal center. Should the bin exceed the weight limit, you will be informed and charged the additional as per your invoice. Extra weights are charged at $55/100kg.

 Skip Bins are usually placed on your driveway; There should be a clear 3 metre clearance wide with no sharp bends and no low overhanging wires or branches. Also please keep in mind the skip bin truck is longer in length and needs more turning room. You can call or email us to request that the skip bin be placed in a specific area.   On the day of delivery/collection, access is required from 7.00 am. It might be an idea to chat with your neighbours prior to the skip bin being delivered/collected and ask them to leave room for the truck if required? If access is not possible the supplier may need to charge you a call-out fee to cover costs for the driver to return at another time.  

  Skip bins should not be filled any higher than the top of its sides and should be filled in such a manner as to prevent spillage of material from the skip bin either while stationary or in transit. (Suppliers face prosecution for unsafe or overweight loads).

All skip bin orders are paid for at the time of ordering on the website. We accept payment by all major credit cards, or bank transfer prior to the bins delivered. Any additional charges for excess tip fees will be invoiced to you after we receive the tip fee invoice from council.
